estate agent. Is your agent looking out for your best interest or are
they just trying to pressure you into a home purchase?
Purchasing a home is often
one of the biggest financial and emotional investment decisions one
makes in a lifetime. The answer to these questions will give you clarity
in choosing a real estate professional that you can count on in
accomplishing your personal and family goals and desires.
1. Do you have automated technology to email me listings on a DAILY
basis? Do you communicate with email?
2. Can we cancel the Buyer Broker Retainer Agreement or Listing
Agreement at any time WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED if we are unhappy with the
way things are going?
3. Do you have a list of references of satisfied clients?
4. Besides resale homes, do you have access to HUD or VA acquired
properties? Do you work with or research “For Sale By Owner” (FSBO)
properties? Do you provide consulting and advisory services on new
construction?
5. Can you provide down payment and closing cost estimates?
6. What is your policy on returning phone calls?
7. Do you hold any degrees / what is your highest level of education

10. How much of your time is dedicated to “prospecting” or “cold

11. What percent of your practice comes from referrals and endorsements

your local association or the State real estate department?
13. I have a home to sell; what is your policy on commissions on the
sale of my home?
14. Do you own a home and do you have any real estate investment
properties yourself?
